Cheese Potato Calzone is a delicious version of pizza that you can serve for anytime. It can be a snack or even a dinner and your kids will go over the moon when they dig into this pizza.
In this version, I have added pizza sauce along with cream with potato stuffing. When it comes out hot from oven, it tastes so wonderful and filling. My kids had this for their dinner and wanted more. I only made for that serving and so planning to make soon. I was inspired from Priya’s Calzone but had to introduce my own twist to this. I am so happy to have another version handy. I previously have made with Bell Pepper stuffing, Chickpea Calzone. I guess anything with Cheese goes good!
Today is the savory bake for the Bakeathon and we all totally enjoyed it!

3/4 cup Water lukewarm
1 tsp Dry Instant Yeast

Once the dough doubled the volume, punch the dough and knead again.
Divide the dough into 4 equal balls, dust the balls and roll each into 1/4 of an inch thickness, transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet lined over a baking tray.
Microwave the potatoes till cooked.
Then mix the potatoes along with salt, chili flakes.
Spread the pizza sauce on the half side of the top, then with cream. Finally, place the filling on top.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Bring the other half over the filling and fold it to make a crescent shape. Seal the edges well.
Brush the top with milk. Let it sit again in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 185 C, bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
Brush the baked calzone generously with the olive oil, once it comes out of the oven.
