For the final day of BM# 46, under Combo Dishes, I have my most favorite dessert that I always order when we dine out. Chocolate Brownie Sizzler with Ice Cream. The version we get in restaurants, are those decadent, rich dark chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream with hot dripping chocolate sauce poured over it. It surely a dish that takes you straight to heaven!
The last time I remember enjoying this was in a near by restaurant to my office. I went in with my colleagues and everybody felt that they would not be able to eat one by themselves! Only each of us were disappointed that what we ordered wasn't enough as the brownie disappeared the moment it was served! And it was so piping hot as it's served on a sizzler.
Though I have made many versions of Brownies and Ice creams, never made them together to be served. So I ensured I got two new recipes to try this combo. Everybody simply enjoyed their dessert and kids were after me wanting for more. For my chocoholic family, this was surely a treat.
Eggless Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, with hot Chocolate Sauce!

can have it anytime!!! love it soooo much...
one doubt - can I substitute any fruit puree for apple puree?
MonuTeena RecipesPassion says
very nicely made brownie 🙂
Srivalli says
Thank you everybody!
Sowmya I have used Beets, bottle gourd, banana, haven't tried with other fruit purees. I think Prunes will work best as well. the apple puree in this recipe works as egg substitute when combined with baking powder. Other fruit cakes will have other egg substitutes. So you could try with other fruit purees as well.
